Beer Question Inside

I had a party about 3 weeks ago. There was a 12 pack left outside. The temperature has fluctuated between about 0-60 (one day it hit about 70) with the mean temperature probably in the 40s. Will this beer be any good if I put it in the fridge and drink it cold?

Edit: They're Miller Lite bottles

Well, since they're bottles of Miller Lite, I'm afraid you'll have to chuck'em.

Not really worth it, but if broke/in college, keep it in the fridge and bring it out after everyone's feeling buzzed.

Yup, they were bad long before they made it to your house.
Remember, life's too short to drink bad beer!

Probably fine, but the only way to fidn out is to put it in the fridge and drink it.

Put it way in the back so it's nice and cold

Probably won't be too bad if you chill them for awhile. On the other hand, it's Miller Lite. I'd take Bull Ice over that sh!t and I'm no beer snob.

As beer goes warm/cold/warm it gets skunked. But Lite beer is bad before it even gets to the store.

Going from at one time warm then cold you are OK... But going from there to warm and cold once again is really bad. Just dump it. Unless you really need to drink, toss the sh!t.

Ohh Sh!t he's talking about Miller? Leave it where it stands, call Hazmat, go buy some real beer.

Skunking comes from UV light reacting the isomerized alpha acids from hops, not temperature change. Beer will stay good longer when stored at a lower temperature, as most foods well, but you're starting with bad beer to begin with.

Long story short, drink the beer unless its been tanning.

a55holes, I'm not a Miller Lite drinker usually, but stop the hating. It's NOT bad beer.

And a filet o' fish is gourmet dining and velveeta is good cheese. It is not culinarily good beer, that doesn't mean you can't enjoy it as a comfort food.

If it got as high as 70 and then went back down, it's probably worthless and will taste really flat.

Its not warmth that is the problem with this. Its light. The professional/judging term is "light struck."

Also, sheet beer like this will not suffer any consequences of being warm for years probably.

Again, wrong. See my reply to Heisenberg. Bad storage to beer via LIGHT is what "skunks" beer. NOTHING else.

The beer we used to drink when I was stationed at Gtmo (Guantanamo Bay) was stored on the base at Norfolk Va for who knows how long, then loaded on the deck of some ship headed our way. It may have spent months in the sun before we got it.

Oh yeah, it was $hit, but it only cost a dime a can.
