A couple of you may have read my whining in the "Sick of working" thread. I just wanted to let you know that hard work pays off... 😛

I got an 8% raise and a $1500 bonus... this was an 'annual' review so I won't be getting anything else for another 12 months, but I think it's pretty damn good.

The review was forty minutes long, exactly five of which was spent talking about my performance. What can I say, they love me.

So, I'll be fininshing off the beer and playing counterstrike to so I can arrive to workgroggy and irritable tomorrow morning, but then what's new.

Sweet! My annual maxes out at 5% and not much bonus. 🙁

Of course, I've gotten 2 promotions in past 3 months with a 15% raise each time... heh
 
Some guy I know that just graduated from Duke, his bonus this year alone was $45,000. talk about crazy.

oh and CONGRATS on your raise and bonus. keep up the good work.

Congrats! No such thing as a raise at my current place of employment...what with commission and all. But that'll all be over soon 😀
 
I've worked it out and after taxes, and some recent surprise expenses, I'll have about $250 dollars left over from my bonus to spend...

What should I buy?

I'm thinking video card and game (farcry, Doom?). I cureently run on a geforce2 GTS 🙂
