I have a Asus p3v4x and I just upgraded from a 533 to 933mghz. and I installed new Crucial 256 megs ram (cas2). My computer starts making loud long beeps and then finally just one long beep that doesn't stop. I took the cpu out and reseated it. Put back in the old ram but it still does it. Otherwise everything is normal. It boots to windows and I'm using it right now to type this message. I finally just disabled the speaker wire going to the motherboard. Do any of yall know what this means and if it is going to hurt my computer. My power light keeps blinking on and off too. Help me please!

Most likely you have the cables that come from the case for the speaker, HDD, Reset etc... You probably have the speaker and the HDD one hooked up wrong. Check your motherboard book to see which way the positive and the negative goes. I hope this helps.
