Beeping when you turn on the computer!

I have a question. When you turn on your computer and it makes a constant beeping sound, what does it mean. It only makes the beeping sound, nothing shows up on the monitor. I know my mother board is good because I tried replacing it, and it still does the same thing. Could it be my power supply or cpu? I really dont remember what that sound is. Do any of you know? I need you guys to be sure on this one. Thanks in advance!

It depends on the series of beeps. I would start with trying different RAM. It could be a number of things tho...you can't even get to the Bios?

A continuous, steady beeping in some BIOSes means no monitor is detected. That could be for several reasons. Your video card may not be properly seated. The cable connections may not be properly made between it and the monitor. This would also result in nothing shown on the monitor.

I had to repair 3 computers today. All making the same sound. Two of them had bad motherboards. I replaced them and now the computers work fine. But the third computer, that made the same sound as the others, still does the same thing. I don't know mabe the new motherboard was damaged also. I'm gonna try replacing the ram, and a new monitor. We will see what happens!
