Beep problem on ECS GeForce7050M-M

My new ECS Geforce7050M-M motherboard is running smoothly.

However, there is one little problem. On startup it only beeps in two situations:
i) after CMOS is reset (2 short beep)
ii) after the keyboard is removed (1 short beep)

Otherwise it won't beep. For example, no POST beep, no error beeps when no memory modules are installed, etc.

If you have this board, do you have this problem? How to fix it?

If you shut it down (totally off) then turn it back on you get no beep? Some boards won't beep from soft reboots. I've had a few after a bios flash that changed. Even stranger, the Gigabyte for instance if soft restarted from say, windows (start shutdown restart) will completely go off. Then magically come back on 2 seconds later for the restart...LOL. First time I saw that I was like ...What the... A little reading told me it was normal. Still the strangest restart I'd seen that is actually NORMAL.

Then again an abnormal DS3L I had (same as other mentioned) would shutdown from any way and come back on no matter what. I couldn't shut this PC down! Power was the only way other than holding the power button to force it dead. But that would reset the bios...ROFL. A bad board. The tech at Gigabyte laughed. It was a known problem I confirmed at Tomshardware forums. Others experienced it in some Jan/Feb boards only it seemed.
