Ok I just put my old machine back together but I heard:

Beep......Beep Beep Beep

Now if my memory serves me correctly does that formation of "beeps" mean I have a bad motherboard, or is there something else that is wrong?

Well, it depends on your mobo ... you're gonna have to tell us more. Or go to the website of the board manufacturer and look it up. Beep codes mean different things on different boards...
