Got up for work at 5:30 Friday morning, this week is my saturday off so I usually stay up 'til 5/6 a.m. 'cause my wife gets home from work around 3 a.m. and we usually watch a movie, so the 24hr mark rolls around and I check the forums for anything interesting and see that Doomiii was released early at best buy and for some reason(or lack thereof) it seemed like a good idea to try and get a copy early this morning 😕

so I am going to go to best buy at 10 a.m. and most likely be pissed that they have no Doomiii for me and maybe try another store nearby or even circuit city, then after that I have stuff I need to get done today 🙁

I am a bit concerned that if Doomiii is as freeking amazing as I have heard, I may be responding to this thread tomorrow morning in some uninteligible form attempting to communicate that I have been sleepless for maybe 48 hours :shocked:

Get some sleep. Gaming is more fun when you're not exhausted. And Doom III isn't going anywhere. 😛
 
From my experiences (as an Everquest player), gaming becomes more confusing and obscure when up for extended periods of time.

Get 3 fire beetle eyes?? When did the beetles become an element? And can't I pry them out?

I camped a spawn for 12 hours AFTER I had played for 12+ hours. I swear that room changed. The brick wall changed to a skull, and the plant in the window started talking trash. OMG THEN the hallucinations started. I would see dogs running down my real life stairs in the corner of my eye, and see doors open and close really fast. Kinda (really) scared me a lot.

Sleep is so worth it though.
 
I may have done that if I had been able to buy Doomiii, teh kids in the game section didnt know what Doomiii was, it was nowhere to be seen :brokenheart:

Everyone probably read up to Doom III being released early and went to Hot Deals instead.
 
Way past the "Dead tired" stage, second wind kicked in a while ago, I think I might be "Goofy tired" currently, I got home from Best buy around 10:30 , I would not even think about driving anywhere at this point, gonna go clean my guns :shocked:
