Been putting off completing my gaming rig purchase, what should I do now?

I have been putting off getting a motherboard and CPU for my gaming rig. I have the rest of the system already, just need a motherboard and CPU. I almost got tempted enough to get a Athlon 2100+ TBred and ABIT NF7-S, but things got busy, and I put it off. So what should I do now? Is there something great on the horizon that I should wait for? Or the Athlon 2100+ and NF7-S combo still a good option? I need some advice.... thanks!

The Epox 8RDA+ seems to be the current favorite; if you overclock, the 1700+ and 2100+ are good candidates; a lot of good things are being said about the new Barton cores too.
