Oddly, it seems to make me more productive compared with being chased by a cat. When I get chased by a cat, I get kind of paranoid and jumpy but end up letting it catch me and it just wants to cuddle with me. I have tons of energy, but it is totally unfocused and I end up doing things like watching cat videos excessively and impulsively, while with bear, it seems to make it easier to focus and run faster.

Anyone else notice something similar? cat videos seem to be good if you're not making the decisions but someone else is, but for self-directed work bear and alcohol makes for more focus it seems.

Not being able to start your day without a bear is a clear sign of animal abuse. You have a problem and should seek help.

In this case, you should probably try to quit slowly. Cut back to an elk, then a wild hog and work your way down. Trying to go cold turkey might be counter productive.
