Beef hot dogs

I've had beef hot dogs in the past but never knew until afterwards. Had a couple for dinner and they are pretty nasty. Too chewy and dried out tasting. I think hot dogs should be left to pork, not beef or vegetables (for veggie dog types).

Anyone else tried these things?

I actually prefer beef hotdogs . The skin is very aromatic as you chew it.... or am I mistaken? These hotdogs are reddish in color right? 😕

Yeah they are red. They don't nuke (microwave) well either. At least with pork it comes out fine.

nathans are the best hotdogs i've ever had. hebrews are a very close second.

We bought a bunch of Ballpark all beef dogs at Costco for our last party because we had a lot of friends coming over who were of middle eastern descent (some wouldn't want to eat anything grilled on the same grill as pork products.) They were pretty nasty, and now I have like 6 pks leftover sitting in my freezer.
