Beeeeep, beep beep

A single long beep followed by two short beeps: It indicates that a
video error has occurred and the BIOS can't initialize the video screen
to display and additional info.

I think the graphics card on my main rig just died.

ah heck.

Ideas to try -
Take out card and check its seated right
Wipe CMOS

Probably won't do anything but has anybody got any other ideas which *might* work?

try the card in another computer if you have one at hand

I unfortunately do not. It's a pain as the card is neither old nor bleeding edge.

Right took the card out, removed the heatsink and cleaned thing up a bit before reinstalling it. Wiped the CMOS and things seem to be working at the minute.

That use to be the sound I was getting on my Asus mobo, every time I was exceeding my ram possibilities during overclocking. Maybe it's the ram!?
