Bed & Breakfast recommendations

My GF's birthday is coming up and I was think about spending a few nights in a bed and breakfast. There are tons of them to choose from and I was looking for some first hand experiences. I'm thinking of either the New Hope, PA or Cape May, NJ areas.

I'd choose cape may any day over new hope -- don't remember any of the places but most are close if not on the water. Cool restaurants, nice beach. Rent a bike and ride to the light house on the southern tip.

I spent a day in New Hope a couple years ago. This is IMO the most uncomfortable little town in existence. I swear there was a crossdresser on EVERY SINGLE CORNER. What is up with that place?!
