Yes, I am going to be part of the problem again. I know, we need more cars and more pollution and we need to consume as much oil as possible but you can relax, I'm just doing this for physical fitness.

I dusted off my LOOK road bike, put a new chain on it and two new tires, and started riding it again.

I'm a roadie again bitches! Suck it!!! :D

Bike pic as requested. I've owned this bike for more than a decade and have posted pics of it before.

Road bike losers, mountain bikes on the road are for winners. But if I win the lottery I do have my eyes on a killer Trek Madone 9.9 custom.

Be sure to ride on roads with 11' lanes during rush hour, and remember, you're not obligated to follow traffic control devices. Yay bikes!

Nice, love the red hubs. looks like a full-size crankset. Well maintained. Is that a fizik saddle? and Campy groupset?

I'd probably buy a few different bikes, but that's one of them for sure. I also want a pinarello, plus something in the Bianchi lineup. Also I want a Cervelo S5 and an R5, and a P5X. And a Canyon.

Shit just all the bikes plz.

Good eye and yes on both. It is a 10 speed Chorus group. I've ridden two centuries on this bike and thousands of miles including quite a bit of commuting.

Bought my son a road bike for his birthday so I thought I'd do some riding with him and for myself.

I am all about the looks, the Madone is sick, plus its possibly the best racing bike on the planet right now. Even though that wouldn't matter, looks baby, looks.

My next ride:

https://shop.juicedbikes.com/collections/hype/products/hyperfat-hf1000

Still waiting on the initial 'Founders' series of 100 bikes to be delivered. There's been a LOT of delays, with some pre-orders placed in February and no delivered bikes even in the US yet !! Ebikes are going to go mainstream next year in a big way, and there are so many technology 'jumps' being made in the industry that this years models will seem quaint and archaic by next year. But I really do like the above ebike, even if delivering it has been an almost insurmountable task. Its unique in all the industry right now, with a built in pedal cadence AND torque sensor, and a top speed of 37 mph, on top of newer technology like a GPS built into the battery pack and a range of up to 80 miles with the 21mA battery pack.

I've been riding a lot to work lately using divvy bike share in Chicago. Its nice to get a workout in the morning before sitting all day at the office. Plus when I bike I don't have to force myself onto a cramped subway during rush hour.

Nice whips! Good to see fellow cyclists on ATOT.

I've done a lot of recreational riding in NYC the last three years but this year fell of the wagon due to various circumstances. Sad. Can't wait to get back on my steed. I have a steel jamis coda elite that I converted to a 1x9 drivetrain with a narrow-wide front chainring. Did some other tweaks like new seatpost, grips, tires and pedals, plus added Deore XT hydraulic brakes which are awesome. Next year will be new wheels. Eventually tossing all the components onto a custom steel frame in a couple years from now. But here she is currently:

why aren't folding bikes popular here?

They are popular with people who live on boats. Can't imagine there is anything a folding bike does better than my road bike though, other than take up less space.
