I believe that left right are opposite sides of the same coin, a paradox that resolves at a higher level of understanding.

A quick example. R: Giving money to the poor is stupid. L: Letting the poor die is stupid.

Moonbeam: Give to the poor in a way they don't see it as a gift because people don't value what they get for free. Give in return for something. Pay the poor to work at some service you create for them. Build their self extreme by creating a way for them to achieve something on their own steam. The poor are poor because there isn't enough work for them and they feel they deserve to be poor. It is both a structural problem and a psychological one. Treat both problems.

Last Sunday when I went to a local diner for breakfast the yokels where passing around an Obama $3 bill. Obama had a saudi style turban on and on the back it said "In the left we trust NOT" .
Rather comical to see how much fun they were having with it.
