I've seen a lot of your posts.. you seem to be fairly intelligent.. quite knowledgeable about psychology and neuroscience.

what happened?

Actually psychology and neuroscience while very interesting aren't that well known to me. My interests are very wide though and I read up on all kinds of things from entomology to biology, botany astronomy, math and others. My main interests have been physics, math, comp sci and particle physics though. It's not like I can read papers in any of these fields but I do soak up a lot of stuff that I read in all these fields.

Umm depression / anxiety happened? Family history of it on my fathers side. Father had a bad nervous breakdown at around my age and has yearly bouts of it to this day. His mother was also somewhat mentally unstable. My mothers side of the family (the Chinese side) is probably relatively stable but there is depression on that side too.

In the long run I AM going back to school and I'm going to end up with a degree and a career. But whether that happens before I'm 40+ or not is hard to say.
