I won a set of "UrBeats" in ear headphones by Beats audio.

I've never owned a nice set of headphones. Im just starting a new fitness routine and have started using a $20 set of in ear headphones by sony.

I listen to a ton of different music.

Are these headphones worth keeping? Do you think they are noticeably better than cheap headphones or are these fashion headphones..pay for the brand type deal?

I have a friend that offered me $70 for them. Still have them in a sealed box

Id be using them with a LG G2

This is the type of thing that you'll only know by using them. Some people like them and some people don't. On a home theater forum though you aren't going to get much love for Beats as people here are heavily biased against them. It'd be like a telling a PC enthusiast to shop at Best Buy vs making their own PC. Purchasing a set of Beats for them is like going to Best Buy to get your desktop pc.

sure, you will hear some sounds from the music that you have never heard before, but is it worth the $70-$90 that you can get for it? you decide. I would say think about what you will do with that money? if you have some plans that can really use it, like a new phone, a new computer part or something then might as well sell it. If the money has no particular purpose and will just sit in your wallet until you spend it on booze then might as well use it.

I had the ones for £130 a few years back. They sounded good but they didn't last more than a year. I got the 2nd pair fixed as I got a warrranty from HMV. I got some monster turbines before and they were good as well.

My A jays are just as good to my ears and they were £40 or so.

I view beats to be like Bose. It's not that they sound bad. They don't. The problem is that you can probably spend half and get something of equal sound quality.
