Beat'em up games

Hey all,

Just got an Xbox for Christmas. I haven't played any console games since the PS2 a few years back (I am a PC gamer).

My question -
Are there any beat'em up brawlers still being made?
I was looking for something for two players and I used to think that games like Double Dragon, Streets of Rage, and Golden Axe were a ton of fun for two people.
Are there any games like this still around that I could pick up for the 360?

Thanks.

Check out the Xbox Live Arcade. There are tons of games like the ones you described. In fact, I think some of those are on there.

Let's see:

Golden Axe

Streets of Rage 2

Double Dragon used to be available, but it got pulled from the marketplace for some legal reason. There are others as well, check out the XBLA classics section.

All the originally Golden Axe and Streets of Rage games are also available on Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection. Definitely worth picking up if you're big into 16-bit gaming.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-shelled

It's a fun game to play with people and since it's new it has "newer" graphics. Also like said above, Streets of Rage and Golden Axe.

XBOX Live Arcade has a number of older and remakes of older beat 'em ups available.

As far as new games that follow that genre, I'm not really sure...
