Beat my paycheck. An ATOT challenge

Not jealous. You're part of a system that treats symptoms rather than causes and is more about money and social engineering than about true health.

Plus, you're crass. Real rich people would laugh at you for not only making so little, but also being proud enough about it to post your comparitively meager earnings in a public forum. Being proud of making 200k a year is kind of like being proud to be the best gladiator - you may be able to beat any human but versus a tiger you aren't going to stand a chance. It's not the area you should value since you're never going to be the best at it.

While you are correct in some ways I cant fault people for jumping on the money train that is selective american healthcare. The money this man made came at the sacrifice of a lot of people. Some people maybe even skipping meals to insure they have their medications. I dont think that is the op's fault but certainly nothing to be proud of.

Especially when he said he will never work that much ot again.

I was paid about 8k for 2 weeks of creative work (pre tax) but generally it pans out to around 2500 per week. Once I got 3k for 2 days of work.

in $$$.

2 week paycheck. I know there are some super rich people here, so I expect to get downed fairly quickly. 🙁

The most disturbing part of that image is the fact that the automatic payment system is formatted for automatic payments of up to $9,999,999,999.99.

Lol, angry little man here I see.

BTW he is making much more than $200k if that is a net paycheck.

I think it's funny those get so butt hurt.

most I make in a 2 week period is about $2500 take home, and that is working the thanksgiving holiday.

I think it's more about not dick measuring. There are a few people on here that obviously beat this.

It's a good story about him working hard as a Doc, short staffed helping people. His paycheck was large.

Why shit on it?

I wasn't shitting on it. However, as a Pharmacist I am thinking he is showing a 'bonus' + pay check. If not he is probably one of the highest paid pharmacists in the country.

I'm not angry, you guys just think that because my post deals with real issues, rather than making cute comments.

Common mistake. Mistaking serious discussion for "anger." Typically exhibited by anti-intellectual jocks and bums who think such discussion is for "nerds."

If there was a surplus of qualified professionals then the pay would decrease.
The fact of the matter is that licensing boards keep the supply of talent artificially low to inflate wages.

It has nothing to do with how medical care is dished out.

overtime. been hella busy at the hospital and we lost 3 full-time people, I refuse to work that much again. But I was pleasantly suprised when I got my paycheck, but also sick to my stomach as to how much tax was taken out

if you are a doctor you probably deserve that much money... If so what kind ??

^ I completely agree. Medical school, corrupt standards boards, HMO's, and various regulations also contribute to the monopolized system of health care we have.

I make the average salary of an IT person living in Washington D.C. suburbs..

Which is really crazy range 72k to 151k

Not sure why anyone would brag about a paycheck. Having a paycheck means you are working for someone.

The biggest paycheck on atot is probably from Slewfoot. He is an anesthesiologist IRC.

Or maybe from MichaelD. He is an executive of some sort i think.

It is funny how everyone here is reacting to this. How many times have we seen people post that they make some outrageous wage time and time again. Brainhulk pretty much called all you BS'ers out. He put up proof that he is making that much. I see no one else posting proof especially "alkemyst" and all his baller talk.

Yes he did...

Time for me to exit this thread before I do something stupid...

I'm probably up there but I'm sure there are wall street finance types on this board that dwarf me.
