I once got a $20,000 suggestion bonus on top of a 7 day pay. I think I took home a little over $14,000, but paychecks were only valid up to $2K so I got 8 paychecks. It was kinda funny, my direct supervisor was unaware I was getting it so when he was passing out paychecks it was like, 'oh, here's another one, and and another one, and...wtf is going on here?'
LOL. What's a suggestion bonus? "Hey, Boss. I suggest I get $20K this week."

There are forms all over the shop with suggestion boxes you put them in after you fill them out. In my case I suggested we use an air hammer to beat the cracks closed on cracked dies. There is a suggestion committee of usually a half dozen hourly people and one salary person to look over suggestions to see if they have merit. In my case I had my boss order me the smallest air chisel he could find and I tracked over a 6 month period how many connecting rods we were able to make with existing tooling that we otherwise would have had to scrap. The savings came out to over $1,000,000 over a year.

2 week paycheck. I know there are some super rich people here, so I expect to get downed fairly quickly. :(

would you happen to have a room for rent and what I assume is a palatial socal residence? I don't much care for a pool, but a jacuzzi is non-negotiable. LMK. Thanks!

I would post my paycheck, but my supermodel GF is driving my M3 to the bank to cash it. I'll probably not see any of it :(

In 2010, Mitt Romney made $300000 in 5 days 1 hours 19 minutes and 19 seconds.

It would take you 72 years 2 months 13 days 19 hours 14 minutes and 41 seconds to make what Mitt made in 2010.

I am surprised no one here making an average amount didn't dig up an end of year auto-deposit with their bonus added :)

I think the OP is a doctor, but that is a bit high still for the profession, that adds up to about $220k net.

I think it's more about not dick measuring. There are a few people on here that obviously beat this.

It's a good story about him working hard as a Doc, short staffed helping people. His paycheck was large.

Why shit on it?

That's a pretty nice bonus for some damn good work.

Not to state the obvious, but because posting a check he knows full well is more than 99% of the folks on ATOT make is about as classless and douchey as it gets?

Yeah, but I don't think that he's an ATOT member.

Sadly, I don't think that any CEO's from Fortune 500 companies are. They probably have their own special "Top 1% of the Top 1%" forum, which they use to complain about things like how noisy their corporate jets are.
