Bears suck. They'll go from getting creamed in the SuperBowl to not even making the playoffs in one season.

no matter what the season's outcome is for the Lions, it's finally exciting to watch them (post-barry).

That's a new NFL record, BTW.

only good thing is this is griese's first outing in what 2 years? he was not terrible considering the recivers droped a lot and the running game blows.
hopefully he gets better with more playing time.

From watching the game on TV I'd have to say there had to 20K-25K Bears fans at that game. Way to represent Chitown.
The Lions better get some defensive backfield and O-line players next year.
Hey, just because half of them tanked doesn't mean that Matt Millen is a bad judge of talent. :roll:Originally posted by: vi_edit

You mean taking a receiver with every pick the last how many years isn't a good way to build a team?

haha i love it. exactly what i said with grossman, but thats a completely different story though right? I really can't wait to hear greezy's supporters comming out, saying the exact same things rex backers did. Doesn't matter who the QB is -> no running game, no O line, no recievers, shit play calling = loss, regardless of who is throwing.
Bears are back to square one now. Boo grossman off the field, old man river is not the answer, orton? Now we need to draft a QB or make a big name trade/sign and wait 2-3 years again to see if it pans out. Awesome.
edit* Where the fuck are Olsen, Wolfe, and Hester on offense? For christ sake, the 3 most exciting players we have, not one touch in the game. Pathetic play calling. One screen pass to Hester/Wolfe or one slant to Olsen and i'd be ecstatic.
Just like there are 20k plus Detroit fans when they play in Chicago, even during the 2-3 win seasons.Originally posted by: Squisher
