BE6-II temperature monitoring under Win2k

I have BE6-II with a P3-700 Slot 1 processor running Win2k. I can't find any monitoring utilities to show the temperature reliably. The Abit Hardware Doctor refuses to run with an error and MBM give false readings all the time and alarms constantly for no apparent reason. Hardware Doctor works fine under Win98 but MBM still doesn't.

Has anyone else got this setup working at all? I'm getting more than a little frustrated..... 🙁
