BE6-2 Bios Upgrade Failure - Unknown Flash Type?

Well it finally happened, I flashed my BE6-2 (just like many, many times before) and the awardflash program locked up after starting the flash. Now when I power it up, the Award BootBlock boots the board up and loads to an A prompt, but when I try to reflash the Bios, it says the Flash Type is Unknown, and quits. I have tried it with all the various switches but nothing works. I have not tried a hot flash, swapping the bad bios chip into my good BE6-2, but I figure it still would just come up Unknown Flash Type. Any ideas?
