Be wary of Chaintech VNF-250's

Hey, just wanted to inform yall:

Back on the 5th I ordered this board from Zipzoomfly.com and when it came in it had a faulty chipset, asked chaintech about it, they said they had a bad batch go out, and i was just "unlucky"

Sent mobo back to zzf, and waited a week and a half before i got a new one back. new one had same problem...

Based on user ratings and reviews at Newegg this isn't typical for the mb, hopefully there aren't many bad units floating around.

Im thinking about getting one of these mobos. Does it come with the cmedia apu, or is that just the znf model?

Mine's a little quirky, but it works. Won't run 2 512MB PC3200 sticks @ 1:1, and I can't find a way to force it. With both sticks plugged in, it defaults to 5:6, running the RAM at PC2700 speed. Nate
