I have never ever balanced my personal account. I keep a running total in my head. For instance, I can tell you I have $31 in it right now. I did overdraw about 4 years ago. I overdrew by 27 cents. Nice $28 fee. Still didn't start balancing it 😀

My buisness account is kept track of through Quicken though. Too much to keep straight. I would hate to forget to bill someone 🙂
 
I have never balanced by checking account and I'm 22 years old. I check my account online to make sure there are no unauthorized charges, but that's as far as I go. I don't even know how to balance a checking acount, anybody willing to explain?
