Be Here Now

I am reading Be Here Now and would highly recommend it. I am only into the first part right now, but it is Dr. Richard Albert telling about his experiences with Dr. Timothy Leary and how far they took LSD in a quest for spirituality. Incredibly interesting to see what the guy has to say.

What is it about?

I am only in the first part of the book at the moment but so far it is about Ram Dass (Dr. Richard Albert) and his explorations into his own mind and where that has led him. It is extremely fascinating the things these psychologists do back in the 60's.

does it release or influence the mind?

thats my struggle with the whole sprituality and drugs scene. not really sure which it is.

It frees you from your other personalities and even your physical being, allowing you to become simply your "I".

Well a friend of mine recomended it to me. It's more of a spiritual book than a drug book really, and the guy writes really well. Definitely worth checking out.
