I don't need no stinkin crumple zones. Full steel frame. Although whoever I hit might want some

Actually you do as that "full steel frame" is going to transmit most of those crash forces directly to your body which isn't "a full steel frame". Enjoy that sensation.

ooo hurts so good!

Haha...good luck crashing into a wall or pole with your steel frame. Stopping from say 60 mph to 0 in under a sec is great! I am sure you'll be fine, only pussies need those crumple zones to slow down gradually, right? Real men can stop from 80 mph to 0 in no time without any problems..right?

Can you say... CHINESE SHIT!!!

He probably doesn't wear a seat belt either. he'll be scrapped off the pavement when he goes sailing though the windshield.

Yeah, I always wear the belt. I'll catch myself putting it on just to move the car. I've got nothing against crumple zones. That particular chassis design just doesn't work on a Jeep... or anything heavy duty for that matter. First time you articulate the axles, it would definitely crumple.
and yes, real men can go from 80 to 0 without problems.

Tell that to a burly XJ, ZJ, or WJ owner and you'll get beat down!!

"Crumple zone" is a euphemism for flimsiness. An excuse for poor construction. If manufacturers can make a lack of protection appear beneficial, it's a win for them.

Wow...the stupid is strong with this one...

Crumple zones absorb much of the imact, and (hopefully) reduce the damage to the vehicle's occupants, sort of like a shock absorber dampens out bumps in the road. (except the crumple zones don't spring back quite so well)

We were in a near head-on accident 8 years ago when a girl pulled out from a parking lot without looking and turned into us. Totalled my wife's 98 Grand Am and the girl's (mother's car) 95 Honda Civic. Other than a few bumps and bruises, no one was seriously hurt, even though the girl who hit us was about 7 months pregnant. In both cars, the crumple zones worked as they should have, the air bags did their jobs, and the seatbelts did theirs.

That's what I was expecting. Your video does not disappoint. After seeing that Landwind video a few years ago me and a few friends developed a habit of yelling LANDWIND whenever we see a mangled car in an accident. We've yet to see anything get messed up as bad as that stupid SUV did though.
