actually I think that's what the crash tests look like for most Chinese made cars, which (thankfully) is why they are not sold here.

There is another video of a 2007 Brilliance BS6, a current Chinese car that's just as bad.

Remember the Landwind videos from a few years ago? I think I'll pass on a chinese car for at least another decade or two. More dangerous to the occupant than a german u-boat in 1945.

Haha...good luck crashing into a wall or pole with your steel frame. Stopping from say 60 mph to 0 in under a sec is great! I am sure you'll be fine, only pussies need those crumple zones to slow down gradually, right? Real men can stop from 80 mph to 0 in no time without any problems..right?

Can you say... CHINESE SHIT!!!

He probably doesn't wear a seat belt either. he'll be scrapped off the pavement when he goes sailing though the windshield.

Yeah, I always wear the belt. I'll catch myself putting it on just to move the car. I've got nothing against crumple zones. That particular chassis design just doesn't work on a Jeep... or anything heavy duty for that matter. First time you articulate the axles, it would definitely crumple.

and yes, real men can go from 80 to 0 without problems.

Agreed.

I'd feel much safer on the road if people werent idiots.
All safety belts, airbags, and crumple zones do is keep mother nature from weeding out the people who should be extinct.

No they don't. They also protect you from people who hit you. Not everybody who gets in an accident only hurts themselves. You can be the best driver in the world, and still have some idiot run into you.

That's what I was expecting. Your video does not disappoint. After seeing that Landwind video a few years ago me and a few friends developed a habit of yelling LANDWIND whenever we see a mangled car in an accident. We've yet to see anything get messed up as bad as that stupid SUV did though.

One of my previous cars would have no problems with the pole or the wall. It would go through them, or carry them along. Of course, that car weighed almost three tons.

Anyone remember the SNL skit for the Adobe car? :p

Actually you do as that "full steel frame" is going to transmit most of those crash forces directly to your body which isn't "a full steel frame". Enjoy that sensation.

very true, but being an attentive driver will save you from most things except being rear ended while sitting at a light and someone falling asleep and crossing the median on the highway.
