So today someone comes in looking for a cardboard box to mail a weird sized bike part in and being the nice guy I am I told him I'd check our cardboard bin and see if we had anything he could use.

Well I get out there and some citizen has bumped three large garbage bags and a box full of trash in there on top of all the cardboard, meaning I have to haul the bags out just to get to the cardboard, which I do. :|

This also means that the cardboard people will not pick up the cardboard with bags of trash piled on top and that something has to be done with said trash. After climbing half into the dumpster to remove the trash I decide the person who OWNS the trash should have the privilege of hauling the trash elsewhere (Shades of Alice's Restaurant). So I figure I'll delve into one of the bags and see what I can come up with! ;)

In less than minutes I have Name, address, phone number (Common enough stuff so far)
Child's name and where the child is during the day (Invoice from child care center)
Checking account number (from both a check I found and a bank statement)
Credit info. (letter from a collection agency and rejection letter from Visa for a platinum card with reason why they were turned down)
Where she grew up and went to school, and complete work history including where she works now (resume)
The fact that she dropped out her Senior year because she was knocked up (resume again and figuring out how the dates added up.)
ADDED BONUS!! A perfect copy of her signature! (From a check she filled out, then tore up)
EXTRA ADDED BONUS!! A BLANK CHECK from her current account!

This was ALL found in less than five minutes. During that time I also found a envelope from a letter from DMV so with a little more digging I bet I could have gotten her drivers license number and or info on her car etc...

She is REAL lucky I'm a honest guy!!

When I called her about the trash I told her about finding her sig. and the blank check and told her to be CAREFUL what she threw away (AND WHERE SHE THREW IT) and asked her to please come take the trash to a TRASH RECEPTACLE!

When I left work, it was still there.
If it's not gone in the morning, I think I'll deposit it on her front yard after work. ;)

Note to self: Buy personal shredder!

Box of matches is cheaper.

PICS when you throw it in front of her yard.

Is it littering when it's her own trash?

Wow. What you really should do with this is call the local TV station and let them do a story on it. Obviously, they'd leave out the real name and numbers, but what a news bonanza. Stupid garbage, identity theft, and a nice honest citizen (you :D) saving that idiot from some serious problems.

do they live close by? why would they dump it in your bin, unless they decided not to pay the garbage man
