Be careful if you use the MSI live bios update on their website.

I fried the bios on my MSI k7t Pro2-a board using it to upgrade to the latest bios which I didn't need.

I pulled the bios chip and mailed it to http://www.badflash.com/findbios.htm They are going to reprog it for $11 plus shipping.
winr here also offered to do it but it was already gone. Thanks winr.

Yes I stopped using MSI LiveBios ages ago,use the old bootdisk way it`s much better and safer .

If it aint broke, you can always improve it.

You just didnt improve it the right way. You should've used the flash utility, I'd never trust LiveBIOS with my motherboard.

I usually do the flash utility.

In this case it would not have improved anything for me.....I just would have had the latest bios which fixed things i don't have.
