I think I'm an ok driver... 5 years on the road, one accident (that was only tangentially my fault), and 0 tickets (not counting parking tickets, which I used to get 3-4/month, when I lived/worked in the city)

so, I'm at a stop sign, trying to go straight. but it's a blind intersection and I can't see any oncoming cars, so I've got inch out to try and see the road. and I'm inching out, inching out, and eventually it's like I'm occupying like 50% of the lane closest to me and there's an oncoming car. I couldn't back up because there was a car riding my ass behind me, so I gunned it, under the assumption that he was going within 5-10 of the speed limit.

my assumption was wrong... he was going like double the speed limit and clipped my car in the middle of the intersection (I was like 90% through the lane... he clipped the rear of my car, destroyed my rear axle, and plowed my car a good 15').

From personal experience it is always women who drive the worst in this particular city (Chicago).

The gays hereabouts are pretty good drivers.....except maybe for Platypus.
