my post code keeps saying FF, in the book it says boot attempt int 19. every 3-5 min it gives one or two beeps. ive taken it apart 3 times and made sure everything is seated. it runs, but slow.
im running a 1.6a and OCZ DDR 256MB PC-3000 366Hz ready to overclock it to the moon, but the ff code is standing in my way.

and if anyone has this board running well can you tell me the bios setting you have like ram and voltage and anythimg else that would be useful

atattoogod,

I am having the same random single beep problem. Did setting your memory voltage to 2.6 fix the problem?

Thanks,

Frank T. Lee

chiangm,

The new bios does not fix the issue. Is there a way to disable the speaker on the motherboard? I do not see the option in the BIOS.

Thanks,

Frank T. Lee

i don't think you can disable the speaker on the motherboard.
do you have the same problem when you reset bios and run it at default speed?
if not, have you tried with a different brand of ddr?

Yup sounds like a memory problem. Are you sure you are running the memory at 1.33xthe FSB? You should set the memory ddr200 that means that it is running at the FSB speed
