Yeah, I've never heard this complaint about the Super Bowl winner being the true Champion. What if the Steelers and Packers played last year during the season and the Steelers won. Then the Packers win in the SB. There's isn't any crying about them being co-champions. As much as I wanted to not see the rematch, the winner is the obvious champion.

The difference is there's a playoff to determine who makes it to the superbowl. Not just a bunch of biased people voting for who they think is the best team.

That and the fact that such a huge emphasis isn't put on the regular season. And the fact that every team loses at some point in the season.

The Patriots didn't a few years ago. Yet they lost the Super Bowl, but had a better record than the Giants. Should they have been co-champions?

Nope. As I said. The emphasis isn't put on the regular season like it is in college. You can lose 4 times and still win the super bowl.

College prides itself on every week being like a playoff. And you see a lot more undefeated teams because of the separation and division and number of teams.

except, it's not a playoff. not anything like a playoff, in fact. calling it a playoff is just a lie the old white men in funny jackets tell the public while they make shit tons of money off the efforts of mostly poor young black men.

I think there's been a huge logic problem which has driven us to this mess (a rematch).

I believe the purpose of National Championship game is to determine the BEST team in college football.

Note I said "best team". Normally, pitting #1 against #2 would do this. However, we've already seen that game and know LSU is better.

Hence, we need to look elsewhere to see if we can find a team better than LSU. I think OSU just may be better too.
