Week 2 BCS ratings

Once again, USC leads comfortably. Oklahoma passed Miami, but it's a razor thin margin. Utah moved up to #6, again by a very thin margin. If these were the final standings, Utah would be guaranteed a spot in one of the BCS bowls.

Florida and Notre Dame drop out of the rankings after losing. UTEP, Iowa, and Minnesota move up into the top 25.

ahh.. miami puts up 45pts (basically in 3 quarters) on the top-rated defense in the country and they lose a spot...
they actually gained in the computer polls, ranking 1st in 3/6 of them, while USC only ranks 1st in 2/6 of them, and OU 1/6 of them.. thats where OU gained i guess, in the computer polls... because the human polls, the ap and the coaches basically faired out evenly for both teams...

were gonna get screwed no matter what. All teams ahead of us could lose, we could win out, and they would still find a way to keep us out of the BCS championship game.

As usual, I feel the need to chip in on Utah! Go Utes!

Just jumped past Wisconsin with our shellacking of UNLV this weekend. Of course, doesn't hurt that Texas A&M keeps winning also (their only loss - Utah)

None of this crap is going to matter in December.

Chances are that almost every one of these undefeated teams are going to lose a game. We will be lucky if there are two undefeated teams left. And even if there are, there is still a chance that one of them might not even play for BCS championship.

I wouldn't be the least bit suprised if there were split polls again this year.
