two teams that won 13 games (including winning one conference title game) are playing the title, seems fair to me.

The whole system is nonsense and you know it. I don't have a dog in any race but i like to see the big shot schools go down.

I cant help the fact that i revel in and gain amusement from disappointment on the faces of fans from ncaa football perennial powerhouses.

what disapponitment? tcu and boise fans are disappointed, not fans of the "powerhouses"

Yep, system is very archaic, favors certain conferences. Big teams from favored conferences have incentive to play very weak teams, because they are not punished in rankings for that.

However, two teams playing for title definitely deserve to play it. Other 3 teams were not given chance to 'qualify' for this game. I think it would be even more crazy if we had big ten or PAC 10 unbeaten team.

There are so many college teams. If there is playoff system, many of current teams wouldn't make it into new Division I.

FL vs Cincy looks like fun. I live around a few cincy fans, and they've been claiming all year that Cincy can hang with the big boys. Guess we'll soon see if they really can.

The system sucks, I hate the fact that there's no playoff.... It simply isn't fair to TCU, Boise St and Cincy that they don't get a chance to play for it all. Yeah, they play (for the most part) nobody all season, but still. Nobody big wants to schedule them either. How can Boise improve it's strength of schedule when the likes of Florida, Alabama, Texas, Ohio State etc will never schedule them??

TCU and Boise State are undefeated because they played shitty teams all season.

I think Boise State has proven over the past couple of years that they can hang with the big boys despite being in a weaker conference. Remember, Boise State beat (currently) #7 Oregon earlier this season and did it in a pretty impressive fashion by shutting down both Blount (-5 yds rushing, 13 yds receiving) and Masoli (121 yds, 0 TD, 1 INT). IMO, Boise State is for real.

TCU won at Clemson and also beat a couple of ranked teams in their conference in BYU and Utah. There were only two games that were actually close (Air Force and Clemson), so they're actually a pretty good team.

I hope that Cincinnati beats Florida so that we'll end up with 3 undefeated teams at the end of the season which will likely create some off-season discussion about the BCS.
