I want to send about 600 people some mail, but I don't want them to see each other's emails. I assume BCC is the best way to do this?

When I BCC with outlook it shows MY email addy in the TO: field.

Is there a way to customize what shows up in the TO: field, like TO: MY CUSTOMERS ?

I believe so.. all you will need to do is create a email group and when you email this "group" it sends email to all of your distribution list but you do not see everyone's email in the output, just the group name.

I have done this before for our LAN Parties.. it's just easier than adding everyone to the email each time. You create a "group" and add everyone's email that you want to be part of that group. Then you just go "LAN" and it shows that in the 'To' field.

I don't think this will serve you in this case though because I believe you could still right click it and do a properties and then all of your customers would know who each other would be (correct me if I'm wrong). You probably should just create the list as a group, and BCC (Blind Carbon Copy) the group you created and just add your own "store email" id to the 'To' field.. otherwise if they "Replied All" to your group which was added to the 'To' field, it would send it to your distribution list.
