BC2 texturing flickering, ugh....

when you get the answer let me know...I get it too.

I'm running a 7950gt...latest drivers (I'm hoping they fry my video card!! LOL..just joking..)

I might go back to the previous set and see if the same thing happens.

It is an issue with some setting in the game, you uncheck the setting and recheck it. I forgot the name though.

Go into options, turn off HSAO. Continue on with the game then go back into options and re enable it and the flickering should be gone.

have the same issue with DX9 and a 4870, Cat 10.2

I just assume it's a graphics engine or driver issue

I get it whether I have HBAO on or off and it usually occurs while in vehicles.
 
First set texture filtering to high quality, then try toggling trilinear optimization. Might help.
