BBQ Pulled Pork Recipe

1 (3 pound) boneless pork loin roast (I used shoulder).trimmed and cut in
half crosswise.
1 cup water
1 (18oz) bottle barbecue sauce.
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1.5 tablespoons hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Place roast and water in a 4 quart electric slow cooker. Cover with lid,
cook on high heat setting for 7 hours or until meat is tender. Drain,
discard cooking liquid. Return pork to slow cooker, shred with 2 forks.
Stir in barbecue sauce and the rest of the ingredients. Reduce to low heat
setting; cover and cook 1 hour.

That does sound mighty tasty. I imagine it's a similar method for pulled chicken?

Not to mention putting BBQ sauce on it, at least no one has asked for pics yet.

dressed up ketchup doesn't make it bbq.

in fact, if the meat is any good, you shouldn't need to cover it up with sauce.

I love pulled pork on a sandwich, with rice, fries, anything. I did have one horrendous experience with it though, Wife and myself went to a BBQ joint and each got pulled pork. My wife found a vein as big around as a Sharpie and about twice as long in her sandwich *puke*

No animal's meat, no matter how fresh, will be naturally flavored like barbecue sauce

i didn't say the meat couldn't have anything added to it, just that dressed up ketchup shouldn't be where your flavor is coming from.
