BBedit Alternative

Hey guys,

I just purchased an iBook and was wondering if any of you Mac users could recommend a decent html/general code editor that is similar to BBedit, but doesn't cost $200 after the 30-day demo is over. I know I could just use a plain vanilla text editor, but I happen to like the color coding and other little plugins that BBedit includes. Thanks for your help!

There are two editors I use on the mac:

1) BBEdit
2) vi

vi comes with OS X. Start terminal > type "vi" > write code.

BBEdit is the best graphical editor for the mac. You can get it for $79 or so if you're a student.
