We'll know how much conservatives think it helps Obama by the lead on FNS tomorrow. If they start with something else they know their side looks like fools.

BTW - they still look like fools.

This thread wins pre-emptive circle jerk of the year award, thus far.

Congrats gentlemen.

What a bitch you are, but I'll at least give you points for showing up. Your fellow conservatives are curiously mum.

You all can't even break partisanship to celebrate the freedom of fellow Americans, and no one had to die to do it. If there was something to jerk to, this would be it.

Aw... All you Obama haters are gonna miss Obama after he's gone.
And you can take that to the bank!

Shit...
GW Terd believed Americans would be welcomed with roses and open arms by sending in armed troops.
Where as Obama believes we will be welcomed through diplomacy and sitting down together.
Yep! Obama is going to be sorely missed.

Congrats gentlemen.

Circle-jerking over successful diplomacy that brought 4 Americans home as opposed to the empty war-mongering rhetoric of idiots like Ted Cruz that would have kept them in prison or gotten them killed?

I'll accept that.

I think that's the issue, an insufficient body count. TLC was an enthusiastic cheerleader for Bush's attack on Iraq.

I'm not so naive as to believe everything with Iran is now magically wonderful, but we've had a couple of good, positive steps this week. I hope they continue.

They were just as shitty over the release of Bergdahl & can be depended upon to be shitty about anything Obama does. Too bad everybody can't recognize them for the assholes that they truly are.

We have imposed very limited sanctions over the missile tests that don't affect the nuclear agreement.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about that is that those tests would be acceptable under the new agreement. If they did it today we'd have no basis for complaint.

Iran has their own hardliners so the Rouhani govt threw 'em a bone by not postponing the tests. Now the Obama Admin throws another tidbit to our own hardliners with a little slap on the wrist & we'll all proceed as if it never happened because it never really mattered.

Posturing opportunities all around, however. Everybody gets to say they're tough for domestic political purposes.

Another feather in Obama's hat......or as any far right wingnut would know fer shurr, a turban, or kufi or kufiya.

All one needs to do is to list Obama's positive accomplishments for the nation's prosperity, welfare and security against what the Repubs have "positively" accomplished for the nation since Obama's election to understand where the Repubs are coming from in their treatment of Obama and his "disasterous socialist anti-American crimes against the people". lol

Tell that to the Republican candidates. Tell that to the posters who still complain about anything they can to minimize this goods news.

This is the exact same strategy the Republicans and the right have been using for the last seven years.

What used to be a calculated ploy cleverly timed and rendered has turned into an infectious knee jerk reaction deeply ingrained in many of their constituents by having to employ that strategy for those seven long years you've mentioned, of which their stock in trade was/is a complete and utter obstruction of any and all attempts by Obama to actually lead the nation as his job description requires.

Then, to add a comedic yet tragic spin on this total obstructionist policy of theirs, they accuse Obama of being a "do-nothing" leader, as if their attempts to stonewall Obama at every turn had nothing to do with what they accuse him of.
