Ok so as some of you already know, I have recently been given a new Jeep Liberty to off to college in (snowy hills are common in Duluth) and have now encountered a problem when I went to install my car Deck (aftermarket Alpine). The head unit in the Liberty right now is set at 3" or 4" os space. The Deck I have in my old car is only 2" thick, there inlies the problem. I have reinstalled car stereos before for myself and friends who cant afford to have BB do it.
So I went to BB to see if they had an adaptor plate for Chrysler vehicles. It turns out they did but were currently sold out. The problem would normally be a minor thing, but what pissed me off as the d*che at BB who refused to do any more than walk 5ft. I went up the kid and asked if he could go into storage and look and see if there were any in there. What he said to me is what pissed me off, "Im sorry but I cannot do that as I am too lazy and dont want to help you because this is my last day here. " He went on to say that there werent any in back, he didnt even go anywhere, just said they werent in. When I worked there in the media section, I basically unloaded all shipments that delt with car audio and media, and these adaptor plates came in every Tuesday atleast 5 for each major car maker. I then became quite pissed off, and asked if he could go to the install bay in back and see if they had any there, he went on to say, "I told you we dont have any in of those in stock," and then he said under his breathe, "moron."
I was an occasional seasonal empoyee every winter and knew some of managers and went straight to the nearest one to complain. Robyn (manager) said he just found out he was getting fired at the end of the week for being an a$$ to everybody.
The next day, I went to BB again and was quite happy to find that this guy was no where in sight, so I asked the asian dude if they had any in stock. He said no but he actually went into the back and looked for it. I then asked him to go into the install bay and check there and just so happened to have a stockpile of them. I said thanks and left because I cant buy anything from the install bay at this BB unless I work there.
