If you're getting the employee discount, doesn't that mean that you work for the store ... so shouldn't you know?

I remember when my brother worked at BestBuy he was told it was 5% above cost or the current sale price, whichever is cheaper. So if BestBuy's cost is less than 5% below the price of the 9800 Pro after Rebate, you might not get any kindof discount.

what's up w/BB...game supposed to be out on monday the 15th...hopefully it is retail on that day, I think pre-orders should recieve on 18th(that is what thier site says)...not sure.

When I worked at Best buy, an employee couldn't use the discount and a best buy rebate. However if the rebate was a manufacturer rebate that was okay. That may have changed in the last year though cuz best buy stopped honoring rebates if the price on the rebate wasn't what it was supposed to be. I used to sell friends open box stuff for x amount then give the people the UPC to mail in the rebates. Now thats customer service. =-) I sold a toshiba laptop to a kid for $1499-%15 open box -$300 cuz the UPC was missing and he wouldn't be able to get the rebates the he copied the UPC off one of the other toshiba's.... You do the math, thats a hot deal. But, times change.

Thanks, I ordered one up. Hopefully it will ship soon and not go backorder. I already bought an ATI 9800 pro from best buy for 199 AR, but with this deal it will going back in favor of the AIW. After the coupon and tax it will only be like a 20 dollar premium for me, AIO here is come!!! Hopefully I will get this in time for March Madness. THANKS!!!
