Oy Vey! Sega is blaming the delay on translating the game (it still comes out in October for Japan) and that new intellectual property in November is a challenge.

?If we could have launched it ? the translation would have made it a challenge ? it would have been late November or early December. And we just think that's a point when consumers are spending all their dollars on Need For Speed, Modern Warfare?hopefully Mario and Sonic.?

Now they'll be spending their dollars on God of War, Bioshock 2, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Gran Turismo 5, etc etc etc
 
Valkyria Chronicles released in November last year, and that team didn't have three enormous bombs in a row on their record. The delay might not help, but I can see why they'd try to avoid that particular month.
 
Sega is full of it. Translation? What they don't have people that can translate?

I think this should've been a spring or summer release. With the over the top story and gameplay, you can't really take it seriously. It would be a perfect summer boredom devil may cry button mashing fun.

Summon the gigantic leg with stiletto heels to poke the enemy!!
