Is the bay bridge backup 10000x worse than it was before they "Fixed" the san francisco side the 80 interchange.

I worked in the city during the summer and it took me not much longer than 10 minutes to cross the bridge and get to work (by SBC). Even on weekends/weeknights the entire bridge ordeal didn't take longer than 20 minutes. Now when I cross the bridge on weekends and weeknights i'm stuck behind the toll plaza for at least 20 minutes and stuck on the bridge anywhre from 20 to 40 minutes... wtf gives?

 
I seriously don't envy your commute at all. My commute is just from San Jose to Milpitas and that can take as much as 40 minutes on bad days. I would hate to be stuck on the Bay Bridge on a bad day. 🙁

They should increase property/sales taxes on residents of SF by a factor of 50301... we're doing the THEM a service by working in that city...
