Any of you guys living in the bay area (CA) get the feeling that the nexy BIG ONE is coming? These little earthquakes as of late are a bit unsettling.

Not worried about it; it's simply a fact of life in living here. I'll take earthquakes any day over tornadoes, hurricanes, and the general climate of the Eastern US.

With increased Volcanic activity just East of California in the Geyser areas and the increase in quantity of small tremors in the Bay Area, plus the other side of the plate in the Japan area just shook with an 8.0 monster certainly suggests we will see a BIG One on California very soon.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a 7 or 8 in between LA and San Fran before 2003 is out.

So thats why the governor raised auto taxes!! Soon, when the Earthquake hits, there wont be any roads left, so no one will have auto;s Assuming of course that Cali doesnt just slide into the ocean. Course, God knows we (being the rest os the US) couldnt get so lucky as to have that happen.

What would you guys do to entertain yourselves if we floated away into the ocean

Don't the small ones help relieve stress? Or has that theory been debunked?

Yup, pretty much. :)

You're far more likely to die as the result of an automobile-related accident, by being struck by lightning or at the hands of a criminal than you would because of an earthquake in California. Dying as a result of any of the above reasons is certainly not on my mind as I go about business every day, less earthquakes.
