Stopped in to get gas yesterday morning before heading off to work, and decided to pick myself up some caffeine to help me through the day. I get my gas as the same citgo station about a 1000ft from the apartment. I walked back to the coolers, doing my standard ritual of checking out about everything that is available, then making my decision. Imagine my surprise when my eyes ran across one row of Bawls drink that hadn't been there before.

I promptly bought one ($1.49, not bad at all) and guzzled it down on the way to work. I had only had a couple before at a local LAN place, and was very impressed with the taste. Typically, energy/caffeine drinks leave a little or a lot to be desired. But I find myself loving this stuff. I promptly stopped after work on the way home to pick up another bottle 🙂.

The point to this thread? Nothing. Just wanted to profess my newfound love for Bawls drinks, and now my local store is stocking them 😀. Too bad they are freaking expensive as hell. My local CompUSA wants $17 for a case of 12 10oz bottles!!
 
The coolest thing about Bawls is it's tons of caffeine without making you jittery. They use some sort of purification process so that their caffeine doesn't have impurities.

I can't find anything about it on their website other than the caffeine comes from naturally-ocurring Guarana from the Amazon rainforest. I don't know where it was that I read it - but supposedly it doesn't give you jitters. I usually hate caffeinated drinks because they do give me jitters - but Bawls doesn't.

Actually, I believe that is due to the use of the guarana berry, not some purification process.

From a beverage distributor. 🙂 My parents own a convenience store.

I have no idea how much it would cost to ship, but I imagine it's not cheap.
 
^^ either that, or go to your local gas station or coffee shop that sells it and try to strike a deal with the owner, ive done this many times and have managed to score wholesale prices on it
