Battlrfield1942 Patches

I've finally got around to installing BF'42 on my new build. My CD is ver1.0. I'm confused about which patch to install. The site lists an incremental ver1.6 at 6.41mb & another at 148mb. It also has a ver1.6 at 274mb. Which do I need? Can I go from v1.0 to v1.6 or do I need to go through the update history to get there? Thanks for any help.

From v1.0 install the v1.6.19 (274MB) latest full patch then install the v1.61b (6.41MB) incremental patch and you'll be ready to play online.

BF1942 is a great game. I still play it every week. Be sure to pick up Road To Rome and Secret Weapons expansions. You can normally pick them up for < $10. Check out "TEST TRES" when you go online. It's a great server.

The 'Forgotten Hope' mod is great too. Almost forgot DC.
Haven't played in a while now.

A few months ago I reinstalled BF1943 with the FH mod (played it long ago too), tried to hop on the only server that had people playing, packed and tough to wait for a slot to open and hope you can log on quick enough. Later just gave up and uninstalled everything.

Probably the best mod I have ever played.
