I came to a realization tonight.
Battlestar Gallactica is probably the greatest television drama every created.
You've got romance, political intrigue, religious issues, moral dilemas, great action sequences (both on the ground and in space battle sequences), and best of all, neither side is divided into black-and-white good / evil camps. I mean, I know that the cylocs are out to destroy humanity, but sometimes some of the things they say make me wonder if they don't have a just cause to do so. likewise, there are some really awful characters on the human side and some good people who do awful things.
/spoilers!
and even though I know the cylons are machines out to destroy humanity, I was really saddened with Sharon (presumably) died tonight.
