They didn't in the first series, and they won't in this one.
It's one of the few TV concepts out there to which the end simply does not exist. The journey is everything, and its end irrelavent.

I'm not really into this series yet, but it looks interesting.

Is there is a military fleet or just one large carrier like ship, Galactica?

They found water today in the episode I watched. I tunned in late to find out how, but they had some people on their old planet that was now occupied by the cylons.

Also that asian girl. Is she good?

their ultimate goal isn't to defeat the cylons. it's to reach the earth which is rumoured to exist

i don't completely understand your question so i'll try to answer it as i understand

the only military ship is the galactica and its complement of fighters etc. the rest are civilian ships.

You know, I've heard about Battlestar Gallactica on numerous occasions throughout the course of my short life, and I've always thought to myself "That's a great name for... whatever it is..." and to this day I have no idea what a Battlestar Gallactica would be.

I'd assume a Battlestar is maybe like a warring planet, and Gallactica always just sounded like the name of a prison. And I left it at that.

And now you have ruined it for me, by reading your posts that you didn't even have the decency to indicate contained spoilers, the magic is gone.

just start with the miniseries..which is actually the pilot for the series..or atleast doubles as such. its on dvd.. or netflix..possibly rerunning on cableblah blah its like 3 hrs
