It's going to start from the very beginning, not where the other left off. It's a "re-imaging" (spin for "re-make").

Latin America is a Mormon hotbed. IIRC, a majority of the Mormon converts in the last 20 years have been Hispanics.

I think it's kind of disappointing that they're making this new show. The original one was a favorite TV show of mine growing up in the late 70s.

Didn't even know they were doing this. Hopefully it's a decent qulity show and not some cheap knock off.
