It's safe to read if you're up to date with the show. If you've only seen part of it, then skip the article as they talk about what happened in the last season...

I liked this part:

When someone from the audience asked Mary McDonnell, who plays President Roslin, if Barack Obama had approached her to be his running mate, she replied that Hillary had. At which point Douglas quipped: "Hillary's the final cylon." Badabum!

I'm looking forward to Caprica. The Battlestar plot is played out and it's good they're ending it, although I do really like what the production crew has done.

Haven't watched it since the boxing episode. It's been too boring since season 1.

My main problem is the introduction of thinking, feeling, emotional humanoid cylons who constantly criticize humanity for its thoughts, feelings and emotions.

Yeah that boxing episode was pretty lame. There were 3 or 4 in a row there that were pretty bad. I can understand wanting to air grievances from being on New Caprica, but do it in one show, then move on.

You should probably watch the last two episodes of last season though. They're good and make the next season look interesting. Now that there's a definite end to the show I think things will improve.

love BSG, and i'm excited for the new and upcoming season. Though i'm mad at SciF for breaking it up into 2 'seasons'

I can't wait for BSG to return! I remember when it first premiered, my husband begged me to watch it with him. I had no desire to see it, but now it is one of my all time favorite television shows.

50 years prior would mean the first Cylon war, wouldn't it? Hmm :)

Weak! I thought the boxing ep was one of the best. Seeing the crew unwind from all the stress of war, even the Commander, was great.

The thinking, feeling, emotional humanoid cylons aren't supposed to be perfect. Which is part of the show and why you have cylons second guessing the actions of other cylons.

The only issue I have with the show is the obvious effects of funds on the shows production. Early on they had lots of special effects and battles, then they realized they couldn't keep that up and it became a regular normal show with a few awesome episodes sprinkled in here and there. Whatever they can do to keep the show afloat is good, but it is sad that the potential for the show is so much higher had they been able to keep the production values sky high.

can't wait, yeah i agree that there has been a lack of awesomeness in the fighting scenes but that one episode where

**********Spoilers season 3

they took new Caprica back was amazing! just having Pegasus suicide attack, and Battlestar jump into the atmosphere and jump back was single handedly the best fight sequence of the show.

That was a fracking awesome sequence to watch the Galactica jump in and out of the atmosphere on New Caprica archiloco, I can't wait this this Friday for the premier episode of the final season! :D
